It's All in Your Head, Physical Pain-Mental Blame.

When it’s all in your head but not really…
If you’ve dealt with chronic pain or anything like that you’ve probably heard the sentence “it’s all in your head.” Not necessarily in those exact words but that's what was said nonetheless.
It feels so, ridiculous? It almost makes you want to burst out laughing because how is that the answer? It’s all in your head.
But it’s not. And I’m not saying there isn’t some psychological aspect to pain, especially chronic pain but it came from somewhere, it started from something. All pain serves a purpose, it’s trying to catch our attention because we need something that we're not getting. So to answer a question about chronic pain or conditions with the unapologetic “it’s all in your head.” So silly, of course it’s in my head, it’s in my brain, but why? Why is my brain thinking I’m in constant pain?
Why is it in my head to begin with?? That's a question that may force more investigation, that's a question with a call to action, it’s a question that says “okay, fine. But now what?” Don’t allow yourself to be denied, dismissed, or questioned that awful question. Ask your own questions, do your own research, demand answers.
You will always be the one who knows your body best.
